A couple of years back, the government of Curaçao established the Home in Curaçao program, often known as the digital nomad visa, to attract remote workers. This visa allows digital nomads to work remotely and enjoy the unique lifestyle on the island for six months with an option of an additional six-month extension.

The application procedures and requirements are pretty simple, and it's all done online via the official website, making it one of the few digital nomad visas widely accessible to many remote workers. You should be able to finish and submit your application within a short period of time.
The following documents are required to apply for a digital nomad visa for Curaçao.
The next step is to start an online application, fill in all the required information fields and pay the fees. The Curaçao digital nomad visa costs $294 USD per applicant and is non-refundable. You can pay via bank transfer, and you must include your full name as it appears on your passport. After payment, ensure you keep your receipt and payment confirmation safe because you will have to submit them with your application as evidence of payment. You are also allowed to apply along with your spouse and dependents, and there are no fees for family bundles. However, you should include their details in your application. The processing time for a digital nomad visa will take approximately two weeks, and you will be approved automatically by email.
You might need an entry visa into Curaçao, depending on your nationality, and you should apply at least one month before visiting any consulate or embassy of the Netherlands.

As a digital nomad in Curaçao, you can enjoy many benefits, from not paying income tax to enjoying delicious foods. In Curaçao, you will not be considered a tax resident with a digital nomad visa for up to 1 year. After one year of residency in Curaçao, you will be recognized as a tax resident and will have to pay the country’s progressive taxes. Another benefit in Curaçao is the internet. Being a remote worker reliable internet connection with good speeds is a must, and Curaçao offers you just that.
You will also never run out of recreational activities. Snorkelling and scuba diving are very popular, especially in Playa Piskadó, located in Sabana Westpunt.
