PARAGUAY OVERVIEW

Although often overshadowed by neighbouring Brazil, Paraguay has become an ultra-desirable destination for global citizens and international investors alike. Paraguay has emerged as a top Plan-B destination as it boasts:

  • Financial and economic stability - With a robust banking system and a government that supports the free market, Paraguay is open for business and investment.
  • Paraguay has demonstrated to its citizens and foreigners that medical choice is personal and not to be decided by governing bodies.
  • Paraguay is a low-tax jurisdiction with favourable operating incentives for businesses and foreign investors. All income generated abroad is tax-free (territorial tax system).
  • Paraguay is self-sufficient in terms of food production. It produces enough food domestically to feed a population 4x larger than its current population of roughly 7 million inhabitants.
  • Agriculture and energy production are the two largest economic growth drivers, with Paraguay boasting the third-largest hydroelectric plant in the world.
  • The population is diverse, with many citizens having mixed European and Guarani heritage.
  • Spanish is widely spoken in Paraguay however, English is becoming increasingly more prevalent in school and business settings.

"The other thing I’ve really appreciated is meeting the people Mikkel has partnered with — talking to the developers, getting answers from them directly, asking my questions, and having them answered simply, honestly, and accurately."
GRANT

KELOWNA, BC, CANADA

"In fact, it's been kind of a surprise how little we know about South America in general. And we've just seen some incredible things. Some of the infrastructure things, some of the natural beauty things. It's really been special!"
Tonya & Carl

"It was as well organized as it could have been. It went pretty smoothly, bus in - bus out, and as far as the information and the seminars, the information on the properties and touring them was quite eye-opening."
CHRIS

OTTAWA, CANADA

"I'VE FINALLY FOUND MY TRIBE OF PEOPLE WHO FEEL THE SAME WAY I DO. IT'S HARD TO FIND THAT WHERE I LIVE. I'M AN AMERICAN, AND I FOUND IT AMAZING. THE PEOPLE WERE GREAT, EVERYONE IS FRIENDLY, AND THERE IS LOTS OF QUALITY FOOD AND MEAT."
TREY

WYOMING, UNITED STATES

"Even just the tiniest inkling of interest in either relocating or getting a plan-b residency or investing, I would absolutely recommend it because you don't have to do all the planning."
Alina
